Mr. Ibrahim Touray is the Deputy Director of Public Health Services (DDPHS), Ministry of Health of the Republic of The Gambia, a position he assumed in March 2023. Mr Touray joined the Civil Service in 2006 as Assistant Public Health Officer, where he rose through the ranks to become Acting Deputy Director of Public Health in 2022. 

He served at health facilities, Regional Health Directorate and program Levels and gained a wealth of field experience, project management, management of programs and administration in Public Health Services.

DDPHS Touray holds a Higher National Diploma in Environmental Health from Gambia College in 2006, a Bachelor’s Degree in Public and Environmental Health from the University of Gambia in 2011 and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2017.
